“CHAPTER THRITEEN”
I wasn’t looking for love in all the wrong places,
Just in all the wrong faces.
She was looking to get paid,
And I was looking to get laid.
Now you tell me who got played.
A big butt and a smile, how could she miss?
But she wasn’t expecting this.
When I didn’t cough it up,
I didn’t have to ask what-up,
She cut me lose and filed bankrupt.
Now you gotta fill that!
That’s when you know love don’t mean anything,
And all you got to your name is a chapter thirteen,
Because you were wasting time chasing,
What you couldn’t catch and what they call a dream.
IN THE END SOMEONE ALWAYS GET HURT. THEIR FEELINGS, THEIR PRIDE/SELF RESPECT, FRIENDSHIP OR WHAT EVER THAT MEAN SOMETHING TO YOU… A SIMPLE THING TO ONE PERSON MEANS EVERYTHING TO ANOTHER. AN ACT THAT CAN ALWAYS BE AVOIDED IF YOU REMEMBER TO DO UNTO OTHERS AS YOU WOULD HAVE DONE UNTO YOU!
